A man is best described by his passions. For Keith Code, his life-long passion has been motorcycles – fast, agile ones. Internationally recognized as the foremost authority on riding instruction, his three decades of accomplishments reveal a man whose unique vision has shaped the motorcycling world like no other.
In the 1970’s, after years of professional riding, Keith began private instruction sessions with amateur racers, some of whom quickly became national champions. His success teaching road racing prompted the media to dub him “road-racing guru”. Ever the pioneer, he began to systematically develop written materials regarding the technology of riding – the first in his field. After retiring from professional racing, Keith founded the world-renowned California Superbike School (CSS) in 1980 with the goal of developing the most comprehensive professional school for the motorcycle enthusiast.
Over the past 40+ years, hundreds of thousands of students have improved their riding skills and cornering capabilities at CSS, including dozens of regional, national and world champions and the “A Twist of the Wrist” (Vols I and II) and “The Soft Science of Road Racing Motorcycles”, his instructional books, are international best sellers.
His passion for sharing the exhilaration of motorcycle riding with his students sets this school apart and makes us what we are today.
